Upgrade memory and internal hard drive from SATA to SSD, keeping all the original data and programs. Even though it was a bit of an older machine, the upgrade transitioned well and the unit is performing much better. Maintenance and performance software installed is assisting to keeping the laptop at optimal performance.
We setup the new laptop for the body corporate, to be used for all admin and functioning of the apartments. New software and anti-virus packages were installed and the machine was prepared, removing all previously highlighted issues.
We previously assisted our client with upgrading their Mac from Mojave to Ventura iOS and a few other hardware fixes. This time round it was a pleasure to assist with moving all of the contents from the older Apple Mac, Ventura machine, to a new purchased Apple Mac and upgrading the iOS to Sonoma at the same time. Keeping all the clients data and transferring software applications. Although it was a bit of a challenge keeping the Office19 package running on the new Sonoma iOS, we marched on through successfully keeping the package saving the client the cost of a new Office package.
